Stay for the night

When I travel around the world what I like most is meeting the locals and interacting with them. Talking about nothing, them and their way of life, and living with their tranquil and happy moments.

Full Immersion

I really want to know them and understand how they live. But this is a little difficult in a few hours. To offer you the opportunity to meet them and to exchange a little more, we also propose a 24h immersion.

This 24h excursion is divided into 4 parts:

• Meeting the Mayan family
• Punta Laguna Monkey Reserve
• Mayan Home Evening with the Mayan family.
• Mayan breakfast.

Sleeping in Tents

This Mayan family live in little Mayan huts, and even if they are very welcoming I do not want to be too invasive, that’s why we sleep in a tent on the watchtower or close to the lagoon. It gives them some privacy.

It isn’t a matter of interfering with their lives, but of sharing with them.

No Electricity

The family lives without electricity, you will not be able to charge your electronic device during the night. Bring a small independent battery to charge your phone and other small electronics, if you have one.

Equipment Included

I provide all the necessary equipment, sleeping bag, tent, mattress, headlamps, and a solar charger – if we have clouds my portable solar charger won’t work very well.
